A liquid is a state of matter characterized by flow and quick changing to fit the container it's in
Why do liquids not exist in space?
- Liquids require a certain amount of pressure to exist. Space has no pressure and therefore liquids immedietly boil or freeze into gases or solids
Why do liquids not exist in our upper atmosphere?
- Our upper atmosphere has a lot less pressure than the ocean floor, so much less pressure than liquids will most likely turn into a gas once they enter the upper atmosphere
